Here it is a month later and I am finally back. this new class is much harder in terms of reading and getting all the assignments in on time. I had thought the format would be very much like my MSN program and have lots of discussion between classmates and facilitator. few responses are made and few reply's are made. not to complain but I guess this is a more scholoarly type programs o we need ot focus on the big things like getting the assignments in on time. this blog will be a good spur to keep me on track.

day one

thinking about working towards an advanced degree in education seems daunting and a bit prestigious for a country girl like me. what does a farm wife need extra education for? kids are nearly grown and starting to leave the nest, money should not be such an issue and there should be time for the things that have been let go due to other pressing needs. why?.......... to answer this question; a need to expand and become more, an open feeling that wants to be filled with knowledge and understanding is the answer. hope for this blog is that others will guide and send helpful hints for obtaining this goal. taking on the task of increasing personal knowledge requires input from others who have insight and different perspectives, this will help to round out the educational process.
